Novice-Junior Tutorials

Each Wednesday morning a teaching and playing session is held from 10.30 am to 1.00 pm, from February to December each year. These sessions are designed to consolidate and improve skills learned at the essential Beginner lessons, and are reserved for our Novice and Junior members. The standard club session fee of $7.00 applies.
Sessions commence with a half-hour tutorial, followed by a playing session of twelve to fifteen boards. Players can ask the Director for advice during bidding and play. No partner is required - we guarantee a playing partner for you. No bookings are required, you are welcome anytime.
A coffee break at midday gives everyone the chance for a quick catch-up and chat.
Official NZ Bridge masterpoints are earned in this session and a PDF handout document of each tutorial is emailed to attendees afterwards. On the last Wednesday of each month there is no tutorial. This session is played as a competition with prizes for the top scoring pair.
